UntoldLondon ( explores where to find the history of London's faith and race groups in the capital. It includes collections held by museums, exhibition reviews, listings, featuresand archivesof selected past talks and events. Stories covered range from Medieval Jewish London to pieces about Kurdish and Afghan groups, who only arrived in substantial numbers in the last 20 years.

The result is a compass to London's diverse history. Type in Chinese for instance, and discover the dozen or so museums with significant collections - as well as a short history of the Chinese in London and upcoming history events relating to Chinese culture.

The site is hosted at the Museum of London, and links closely to online resources of many other London institutions - mostly museums, but also libraries, archives and work emerging from community groups telling their own stories of life in London.
