The Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh (http://www.carnegiemuseums.org) is Pittsburgh↑’s largest cultural organization, with four distinctive museums that reach more than 1.3 million people a year. Founded by Pittsburgh industrialist Andrew Carnegie↑ 111 years ago, it now houses four different museums: Carnegie Museum of Art↑, Carnegie Museum of Natural History↑, Carnegie Science Center↑, and the Andy Warhol Museum↑. Well known throughout the world for their vast art and scientific collections and scientific research, the Carnegie museums hold permanent collections and regularly organize temporary exhibits, educational activites and community outreach efforts.
